- Social Media Marketing
- Mobile Marketing
- PPC Marketing
- SEO Marketing
- Display Marketing
I ranked them this way because I feel like focusing on the mobile part of the app is more important. Focusing first on social media will also allow us to better target our ads towards the people that they’re for, so maybe towards flight enthusiast groups. Next is mobile marketing, this is because it’s a mobile app so I feel it would be important to market for the mobile aspect of it, the whole “rather than being stuck at your computer you can download it right now and on the go” idea. It would also be more relevant to them if they’re constantly near an airport for example. Pay-Per-Click (PPC) is important as well because if our consumer searches for “airports near X” or “cities near Y” it would be relevant to them to have our app to take that aspect out and instead already show them nearby cities or airports, saving them the time to search for it. Close behind PPC marketing is Search Engine Optimization (SEO) marketing, we’d want our site to appear close to the top of the search results page if someone searches for the queries above, meaning that our app is most relevant to them and would give them more reason to download it. PPC and SEO can be changed when it comes to priority, I was thinking that PPC would be more important if there are competing sites or apps, as we’d want ours to appear before theirs. I put display marketing at the bottom because it could take more time and money to make sure that the ads are being targeted at the right audience, we wouldn’t want the ad for our site to appear on a biking website, as our audience is mainly flight enthusiasts
